Some Entergy customers in Attala County are without electricity this morning.

According to the official outage map, there is a significant outage southeast of Kosciusko that is affecting over 1000 customers.

Some of the outage extends into the Kosciusko city limits on the Hwy 35 bypass, including Kosciusko High School.

As of this report, the traffic light near Walmart isn’t working due to the outage.

If you encounter a traffic light that’s out, treat the intersection as a four-way stop.

The area could see more outages Thursday due to strong winds expected throughout the day.
