The Ethel Tigers softball team captured the Region 6-1A Championship over the weekend.
The team defeated Nanih Waiya 7-0 Friday night to finish the season undefeated in district play.
As district champs, the team gets a #1 seed in the postseason and will have home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs, which begin Friday, April 19.
The complete playoff bracket will be released later this week.
