The Ethel Tigers baseball and softball teams have advanced in the MHSAA 1A State Playoffs.
The Tiger baseball advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs due to a forfeit by West Lowndes. The Tigers will now face Stringer in a best of three series.
The Lady Tiger softball team advanced to the 3rd round of the playoffs with a pair of big wins over Houlka. The team now faces Hamilton in a best of three series.
