Family and friends of Mrs. Jerrelyn Jackson-Veasley set up scholarship in honor of late principal/coach

An award/scholarship has been set up in memory of Mrs. Jerrelyn Jackson-Veasley.

She served Kosciusko School District for over 30 years as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, testing coordinator, and the district curriculum director. The award/scholarship will recognize a KHS female senior athlete who exemplifies exceptional sportsmanship, dedication, and leadership.  Mrs. Jackson-Veasley was not only a respected KSD staff member but also a dedicated supporter of our athletic community, and this award/scholarship aims to celebrate those who carry on this spirit.

Her family and friends would like this award to inspire future generations to embody the same passion and sportsmanship that defined Mrs. Jackson-Veasley’s remarkable impact on our Whippet family.

The establishment of the Jerrelyn Jackson-Veasley Memorial Award/Scholarship, is a prestigious honor that will be awarded to a deserving female senior athlete.

This award/scholarship serves as a heartfelt tribute to Mrs. Jerrelyn Jackson-Veasley’s legacy and passion for sports.
