LEXINGTON, Miss.–A 19-year-old man died in a shooting early Saturday in Holmes County.
Sheriff Willie March did not identify the victim, but said the shooting happened about 1 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of highways 14 and 17.
He did not discuss a motive for the shooting.
March said investigators have a person of interest in the shooting, but had not announced an arrest as of Sunday.
