Another person is behind bars on felony drug charges after another checkpoint.
Sheriff Tim Nail tells Breezy news that his officers has made another felony drug arrest on Friday the 26th.
Nail said K9 Deputy Scott Walters, Deputy Blake Burns along with K9 Victor made another arrest for felony drug possession. This one also took place at a safety check point this time on Attala Road 5216, also known as Munson’s Crossing Road.
Arron Hughes, 26 year old from Louisville Ms., was searched when K9 Deputy Victor alerted on the vehicle when stopped. A search of the auto turned up 14 grams of cocaine, 23 grams of methamphetamine, 5 grams of ecstasy and 111 grams of marijuana. Deputies also seized $1588.00 in cash.
Hughes was arrested and charged with 4 counts of felony possession of a controlled substance. He is currently being held in the Leake County Correctional Facility. No bond has been set at this t
