A former McAdams Bulldog football player has been named Division 3 All-American.
Belhaven offensive lineman Kendrioun Boatman has been named First Team All-American in Division III by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA).
A 2019 graduate of McAdams High School, Boatman is the first ever 1st Team All American in the history of Belhaven football. Other honors for the former Bulldog include being named to the D3football.com All-Region III Second Team Offense and to the USA South Athletic Conference First Team Offense.
As the Blazers’ staring right tackle, Boatman helped lead the Blazers win the USA South Football championship, the program’s first ever conference championship, and the team’s fist ever appearance in the NCAA Division 3 playoffs.
Individually, Boatman did not allow a sack all season and recorded 75 knockdowns.
