Foul play not suspected in local trooper’s death

A local trooper was found dead in his home Monday.

Sgt. Brad Vincent of Troop H was found around 3 p.m. Monday during a welfare check.

Capt. Johnny Poulos with the Mississippi Highway Patrol says they’re still waiting on an autopsy to determine his exact cause of death.

Right now, foul play is not suspected. Funeral services for Trooper Brad Vincent are as follows:

Visitation Thursday (Nov. 15) from 10-11 a.m. at First Baptist Church Carthage located at 402 N. Van Buren St. in Carthage. The service will begin at 11 a.m.

Interment is at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery located at 1637 Corinth Road in Carthage.
