Google/YouTube has deleted the award winning Boswell Media (@BreezyNews) YouTube channel for what it calls a “violation of spam, deceptive practices, and scam” policy.
Boswell Media was first made aware of the termination early Monday, March 31.
After filing an official appeal, Boswell Media received the following message later that day.
Boswell Media then filed a separate appeal through Google Account Help Center with the following message:
With no resolution, and following the advice of other YouTube creators that have also had their channels wrongly removed, the @BreezyNews X account reached out to the @TeamYoutube account.
The @TeamYoutube X account responded with a direct message:
Boswell Media followed this link and filled out the corresponding forms.
At the time of this report, Google/YouTube has sent no email on the status of this appeal and has only responded through X direct messages, the last of which stated that the suspension would be upheld.
Additionally, while awaiting the decision on the BreezyNews channel, Boswell Media received a notification that the Boswell Media Sports – Audio Only channel was also removed from YouTube for the same violations.
However, that channel was only created as a backup and had never posted any videos or live streamed any sporting events, making YouTube’s claim of a violation blatantly false.
As of this report (Friday, April 1) we have no further updates or correspondence from Google/YouTube.
We are dedicated to finding a solution to get this matter corrected and resolved.
Until then, the BreezyNews channel remains deleted, which means all Breezy News videos and sports live streams are unavailable.
However, audio replays of 2024 Kosciusko and Holmes CC football, 2025 Kosciusko basketball, and 2025 Kosciusko baseball games are available on the Boswell Media Sports Spotify channel.
For now, the Boswell Media Sports YouTube channel (which broadcasts Leake Academy sports) remains active.

Headlines like “STABBING” with yellow police tape wrapped around the word could seem a bit overwhelming to some readers.. “DRUG BUST” “YIELDS LARGE QUANTITIES OF METH”… that’s a little brutal for one young girl that had taken a wrong turn for a short period of time in her life.. First and foremost these people are innocent until proven guilty! Try that for a headline.. instead of ending your reports giving kudos to the cop that most likely made an illegal stop, that probably led to an illegal search and seizure. Which usually ends with someone going to jail after having their constitutional rights violated only to be bashed with words like your headlines so often deceptively depict an innocent citizen as well members of our community.. when someone is arrested for stabbing someone the charge that they would face would be “Aggravated a**ault , possibly simple a**ault with a weapon.. accurate reporting would say just that…

That lady probably has children that attend school in this community… why not just post up a family photo, so when the children go to school the next day they get to suffer the same conviction of this innocent mother… “kosciusko woman arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance”…
We all make mistakes and for you guys to push the envelope on slandering and defaming innocent people for monetary gain almost makes me want to see your woke straight up out of bed photo below a caption that reads “CYBERBULLIES” making a living pushing misleading and deceptive statements against the innocent…. there is a reason for state laws and statutes .. it’s because you are not reporting accurate and informative news… you are publicly humiliating innocent people and there families!!! You have the wrong conceptual understanding of “Freedom of Speech” while abusing “FREEDOM OF THE PRESS”!!!
Put that in your pipe and smoke it …..

April 6, 2025 at 10:12 AMYouTube should consider vetting the ads and other possible life threatening cures it offers. Lots of false advertising there, fad diets, cures for everything. Rip offs and con artist unloading things on people. Sometimes wasting people’s time.
Seniors especially have their time wasted. Most of us don’t have extra minutes to speak to health insurance affiliates.

Any false information concerning local occurrences is immediately recognized by the public. I can’t imagine how you fight with a billion dollar company and win. I hope Boswell Media will pursue this blatantly unjust action by YouTube but in the end they will do whatever pleases them…there is no accountability.
