A tractor implement caught on fire while the operator was baling hay Tuesday evening around 8 p.m in a field off Hwy 35 S between Attala Road 1022 and Attala Road 1016.
Attala County Fire Department and Zama Volunteers were called to the hay baler blaze.
People at the scene were able to disconnect the implement from the tractor to reduce damage done to it.
Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the flames. No one was injured in the incident.
