Holmes Community College The Attala Center will host a legal workshop for senior citizens on Friday, April 13.
Attorneys from North Mississippi Rural Legal Services will be on hand discuss the importance of planning documents, such as a will, power of attorney and advanced health care directive.
The workshop will be held in Room 130 from 10:00 am – noon.
Attendees can then register to receive free document drafting for all seniors over the age of 60, regardless of income. There is no charge for this service.
If you are age 60 or over and a resident of Mississippi and in need of a last will and testament, advanced health care directive and power of attorney, the North Mississippi Rural Legal Services Elder Law Project is able to provide these and many other services, free of charge.
