Holmes Bulldogs Finish the Season Against the Coahoma Tigers

In the last game of the season, the Holmes Community College Bulldogs traveled to Coahoma to face their Tigers.  Coming fresh off a spectacular win, the Bulldogs face a Tiger team desperate for a win.

The Bulldogs score first.  But the Tigers show their determination and come back with their own touchdown.  The first quarter ends 6-6.  Both teams struggle the whole length of the second quarter, with the Bulldogs coming in just under the wire with a touchdown with sixteen seconds left on the clock.  Halftime, 13-6 Bulldogs,

In the third quarter, Holmes scores early, and Coahoma comes right back, 20-12.  After that, it’s a slug fest, with both teams holding the other from scoring for the rest of the quarter.  The fourth quarter is more of the same until the Holmes Bulldogs score, with only five minutes left in the season, making the score 27-12.  After valiant scoring attempts by the Coahoma Tigers, the final score is Holmes 27, Coahoma 14.
