In their first playoff appearance since 2002, the Holmes Community College Bulldogs traveled to Decatur Saturday afternoon to play the Warriors of East Central Community College.
After a scoreless first quarter, both teams scored twice in the second quarter to go into halftime tied at 14. The Warriors scored in the third quarter, with the Bulldogs tying it back up in the fourth. The Warriors pulled it out to finish 31-21. The Bulldogs finish the season with a record of 7-3.
Colton Deshavo was named the Sullivan’s Drugs and Gifts Player of the Game.
