At 6:22 am Kosciusko Police, MedStat EMS along with City Fire responded to a report of a house fire. The caller said it was located on the 700 block of Fairground Street.

When emergency personnel arrived on scene they found the home fully involved in flames.

By 6:44 am Kosciusko Firefighters had the fire contain and extinguished.

City Fire Chief Duane Burdine tells Breezy News that no one was living in the home at the time of the fire and there was no power to the structure. It is not clear at this time as to the cause of the blaze.The Kosciusko Fire Department as well as the State Fire Marshal will be in charge of the investigation.

No injuries were reported.

All units cleared the scene at 9:17 am.
