Human remains were found Monday by forestry workers in Choctaw County.
According to Choctaw County Sheriff Brandon Busby, the remains were found Monday, March 3 near Rabun Road and the Natchez Trace Parkway reports WTVA-TV.
Busby said the remains were found while workers were beginning to conduct a controlled burn in the area.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is overseeing the investigation.
