Attala County Coroner, Sam Bell has confirmed that the skeletal remains discovered on Woodland Street in October belong to Grady Stanley, who was reported missing in June 2023. The Mississippi State Crime Lab completed DNA testing and identified the remains.

According to the crime lab, there seemed to be no foul play was involved in Stanleyโ€™s death. His remains were discovered on October 20, 2024, by a resident walking behind his home who alerted Kosciusko Police. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation collected the remains, and testing recently concluded.

Always a pleasure to talk to Grady, when he would come down ever so often and go to church with his brother. I hope the good Lord enjoys Grady as much as we did!
