Independence Day Incidents Keep First Responders Busy in Attala

Kosciusko and Attala first responders had a busy Independence Day mostly consisting of fights and fireworks complaints.

A caller on Hillview Dr. complained to Kosciusko Police that their neighbor was shooting fireworks and the fireworks were landing on the roof of the neighbor’s home.

Police were later called to Glendale Apartments regarding a fight in progress in the parking lot.

An apparent fight broke out on Hwy 12 near Horne’s Grocery. The caller reported to deputies that multiple vehicles were blocking a lane of traffic.

Fireworks and an ensuing argument were reported at the corner of Linden Dr. and Love Rd. Kosciusko Police responded.
