Kosciusko Junior High School celebrated Veteran’s Day with a program Friday morning.
Veterans from all branches of the armed forced attended the ceremony, including a few from the Martha Jo Leslie State Veterans home.
The service included the recognition of veterans, the Pledge of Allegiance, a student led demonstration on on folding the flag, and the reading of a student essay entered into a nationwide contest.
Sgt. 1st Class Gene Dismuke of the Army National Guard was the program’s keynote speaker.
The ceremony ended with the singing of “God Bless the USA.”
