Kosciusko aldermen hold June 17 meeting

The Kosciusko Board of Aldermen held second meeting of June Tuesday night.

Topics covered during the meeting were:

  • Honey Hole flea market was given permission to use the parking lot in front of the store for an all day event Saturday, July 12.
  • The board approved payments to Gardner Engineering and Cain Inc for work on the sewage lagoon project.
  • The board approved payment to Delta Asphalt for asphalt work on the basketball court at Northside Park.
  • The board approve payment to Allen Engineering and Science for work at the airport.
  • A motion from the June 3rd meeting that approved the purchase of a window from Creative Windows was rescinded after it was determined City Hall didn’t need a full window replacement. Next, the board approved the purchase of two window sashes from Pella.
  • The board approved repair of a transfer pump at the sewage lagoon.
  • At the end of the meeting, the board went into executive session to discuss a legal matter.
