Kosciusko aldermen hold June 3 meeting

The Kosciusko Board of Aldermen held its first meeting of June Tuesday night.

Topics covered during the meeting were:

  • The board opened bids for the site prep work for the pickleball courts being built at Jason Niles Park. Cain Inc. was awarded the bid.
  • The board approved to close a portion of Knox Road in front of the Boys & Girls Club today (June 4) from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm for the club’s Summer Camp Kickoff event.
  • The board approved the 2025 Attala County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan.
  • The board approved a bid for a window replacement at City Hall. Creative Windows & Doors won the bid.
  • The board approved travel for KPD officers Lenaro Nash and Antonio Bailey for Narcotics and Search Warrant Planning and Execution training.
  • The board approved an emergency repair/replacement of a pump at the sewage lagoon.
