The Kosciusko Whippets traveled to Houston to play the Hilltoppers Monday evening in a game moved up to avoid Tuesday’s expected stormy weather.
The Whippets opened the scoring with two runs in the top of the third inning. The Hilltoppers charged in the sixth, reversing a three-run deficit and ending the inning ahead 4-3. And that became the final.
Rece Atkinson was named the Autumn Ridge Player of the Game. Now, that’s something to smile about!
