Kosciusko Basketball Ends Season in a Shoot Out

The Choctaw Central Warriors traveled to Kosciusko to face the Whippets for the second round of the 4-4A basketball playoffs.

After a heated first half, the Warriors led 21-16 at the break.  It was tied at 25 with three minutes left in the third quarter.  The Whippets pulled ahead by six at one point but ended regulation time in a tie.

In an absolute shoot out in a double overtime, the Warriors came out on top, with the final being 67-58.

Josh Cole, and seniors Jeremi Wilkes and Ryan Tillman, were named the Players of the Game.

And that brings the Kosciusko Whippets basketball season to an end. Boswell Media would like to thank all the fans and advertiser clients for another great year of basketball!
