The Kosciusko Whippets hosted the Caledonia Cavaliers Friday in the game that would determine the number-one seed for the Region 3-4A playoffs.  After the close 1-0 win over the Cavaliers on Monday, the Whippets returned home with high hopes to clinch the top spot.

After an early four-run lead by the Whippets, the Cavaliers came back with three runs in the top of the sixth inning.  The Whippets answered with five more runs.  The Whippets closed out the game in the top of the seventh inning with a final of 9-3.

Holden McGee was named the Autumn Ridge Player of the Game.  Now, that’s something to smile about!
