The Kosciusko LEAP Center is resuming its efforts for the 2024-2025 school year, offering vital academic support to students struggling in math and reading. Last year’s results were impressive, with the I-Ready Diagnostic tools revealing significant growth among participants:

  • Kindergarten: 94% growth in both Reading and Math
  • 1st Grade: 100% growth in Reading
  • 2nd Grade: 82% growth in both Reading and Math

This year, LEAP is expanding its services to include 3rd-grade students and will incorporate Kosciusko High School students from the KHS/TRPDD Career Coach EPIC Work Experience internship program to provide more personalized attention.

Founded by the late Preston Hughes and funded by the Kosciusko Foundation for Excellence in Education (KFEE), LEAP continues to thrive with ongoing community support. LEAP offers a special thanks to Dr. Tim Alford and all KFEE members and supporters.
