Holmes Community College kicker, and Kosciusko native, Dan Lindsay has been named the Special Teams Player of the Week by the Mississippi Association of Community College Conference (MACCC).
Lindsay, a Central Holmes Christian School graduate, earns the honor for his performance in the Bulldogs’ 27-24 win against Itwamaba CC Thursday, Oct. 17.
In that game, Lindsay connected on a 32-yard field goal with only seconds remaining to keep the Bulldogs unbeaten (7-0). Lindsay also made a crucial field goal at the beginning of the fourth quarter and went 3-for-3 on PATs.
In addition to that honor, Lindsay was also named the Holmes Community College Football Athlete of the Week.
