The Rotary Club of Kosciusko is honoring a century of community service this year, marking its founding in 1925. Since its charter, the club has been deeply involved in local initiatives, from signage projects to supporting students and civic programs.
On Saturday, June 28th, the club will hold a Centennial Banquet—bringing together members, past and present, civic leaders, and community partners to celebrate its legacy.
Over the past 100 years, the Rotary Club has spearheaded numerous projects, such as the donation of the “Welcome to Kosciusko” highway sign, Shepherd’s Touch, Dictionary Project, holiday meals for The Veteran’s Home, and other educational, health, and civic efforts across Attala County.
The club will present 4 “Service above Self” awards. The receipients are Dr. Tim Alford, Hollis Cheek, Stephen Franks, and Teresa Trussell.
