The Kosciusko Whippets traveled to Shannon Friday night to play the Red Raiders in the second round of the MHSAA football playoffs.
The Whippets scored a touchdown on the first drive of the game. After much back and forth, they finished the first half behind the Red Raiders, 16-14. The second half was all Red Raiders, with the final being 29-20.
Adam Greer, Lyntavious Merritt, Shy Williams, Barrett Kuhn, Bailey Powers, Michael Sims, Benny Powell, Coby Moses, Juntavious “Tay” Herron, Jeremi Wilkes, JC Miller, DeAdreon Smith, Nathan Hill, and Jaqualen Winters were named the Autumn Ridge Players of the Game. Now, that’s something to smile about!
