Kosciusko’s Cole McBride to coach in Mississippi Association of Coaches All-Star game


Kosciusko Baseball head coach Cole McBride has been named a coach for an upcoming All-Star game.

Tuesday morning, McBride was announced as a coach for the 2024 D.M. Howie Mississippi High School All-Star Baseball Game, McBride will be a coach for the 3A/4A North team.

The 2024 Crossroads Diamond Club D.M. Howie All-Star Baseball 3A/4A Game will be played Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Milton Wheeler Field on the campus of William Carey University in Hattiesburg, MS.

McBride was named head coach of the Kosciusko Whippets in June 2021. He graduated from Kosciusko in 2012 and played baseball for former Whippets head coach Johnathan Jones.

He went on the play baseball at Holmes Community College and Blue Mountain College.

Prior to Kosciusko, he served for two seasons as head coach of the Eupora Eagles.
