One man is behind bars after a string of burglaries in Kosciusko.
Kosciusko Chief of Police Herbert Dew said 43-year-old Tristan Martin was arrested on March 13 in connection with a burglary at a home on S. Natchez St.
Dew said police were able to identify Martin with video surveillance from inside the home. After reviewing the video footage, Martin was arrested without incident within 24-hours of the investigation being opened.
Once he was in custody, Dew said Martin confessed to two more burglaries on Glendale Dr. and Peeler St. Dew also said Martin could be connected to an additional burglary on S Natchez St.
Dew said items taken in the burglaries included a flat screen TV, jewelry, a computer hard drive, and a BB gun.
Martin was arrested on $15,000 bond and taken to the Leake County Jail.
