The Kosciusko Lady Whippets traveled to Smithville today to play the Amory Lady Panthers in game two of the best of three series in the opening round of the softball 4A playoffs. Kosciusko won the opening game 11-1 last night in Kosciusko. Today the game remained close in the first 3 innings with the Lady Whippets leading 2-1 but in the 4th inning Kosciusko brought 8 runs home to 1 run for the Lady Panthers to jump out to a 10-2 lead. The Lady Whippets would add another run in the top of the 7th inning to win the game 11-2 and advance to the second round of the 4A playoffs..
