The Lady Whippets travel to Tishomingo to face off against the Lady Braves in round three of Playoff action. The Lady Whippets went three up and three down in the top of the first inning. The lady Braves scored one run on one hit in the bottom of the first to gain a lead (0-1). The Lady Whippets went three up and three down in the top of the second inning. The Lady Braves were held scoreless in the bottom of the second with zero runs on zero hits (0-1). The Lady Whippets went three up and three down in the top of the third. The Lady braves had one hit with no runs in the bottom of the third (0-1). The Lady Whippets and Lady Braves were held scoreless in the fourth with no runs on one hit (0-1). The Lady Whippets went three up and three down in the top of the fifth (0-1). The Lady Braves gain zero runs on one hit in the bottom of the fifth (0-1). The Lady Whippets broke the ice with two runs on three hits in the top of the sixth giving them a one run lead (2-1). The Lady Braves was held scoreless off of two hits in the bottom of the sixth. The Lady Whippets went three up and three down in the top of the seventh (2-1). The Lady Braves made the Whippet fan base nervous by ending up on a bases loaded situation but the Lady Whippets pulled it out with the score being (2-1). The Lady Whippets take the victory and will pursue to sweep the Lady Braves in game two tomorrow in Kosciusko, Ms.
