Lake Pushmataha, located in the Pearl River Community in Neshoba County, will be undergoing some mandatory dam repairs to meet new safety requirements. The repairs will be begin in late spring of 2018. Prior to repair activities, Choctaw Wildlife and Parks has lowered water levels at the lake to help decrease some pressure on the levee structure. The lake is still open and boaters are asked to use caution when launching their boats.
