A church in Attala County will hold a historic celebration next month.
Jerusalem Baptist Church will celebrate its 175th anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 13.
The church was founded in 1849.
A former pastor for the church, Charlie Long, will be the featured speaker and Steve Jordan with the Attala Baptist Association will be present to recognize the church’s milestone.
The service will begin at 10:30 am.
Jerusalem Baptist Church is located at 7483 Attala Road 5131 (aka Center Road).
