The State Health Department is reporting 57 new COVID cases in the local area in the past week– the most since early October. It breaks down this way: an increase of 23 cases in Leake County, 21 in Neshoba County and 13 in Attala County.
But those numbers pale in comparison to the high level of flu activity we continue to see across Mississippi.
