A mobile home was completely destroyed in a fire this morning on Attala Rd. 1136 near Little Hill Rd. The Attala County Fire Department (ACFD) was dispatched to the home at 6:23 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 17.
According to ACFD Chief Tim Cox, no one was at the home at the time of the fire and it is possible that no one is currently living at the residence.
The cause of the fire is under investigation but the water heater may have been what started the blaze.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the mobile home was deemed a total loss.
