Multi-Vehicle Crash on Veterans Memorial in Front of Kangaroo

First Responders are working a crash involving at least two but possibly three vehicles on Veterans Memorial Drive in front of Kangaroo Crossing.

One person has been transported to the hospital with what appears to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Teams are currently working to clear the roadway. Expect delays when traveling in this area.

    More police presence needed. cars go entirely to fast in this stretch of highway. Restaurants are located along this strip.

      What exactly are they supposed to do? There is always an officer or two on this stretch of road.

      They literally drive up and down that highway all the time. They are posted up for speed traps as well. Not much more they can do. People are going to speed no matter what, and they’re doing the best they can. There are only a few cops on each shift so only so much they can do.

        I don’t know where these officers are that patrol that stretch of 35. I live two houses off 35 and never see them giving tickets. Speeders and trucks using exhaust brakes.

    Hello. I was the driver in the white Chevy Colorado involved in this and transported to the ER. I am well with no serious injuries. Just a sore body. I hope the other driver is well!
