Multiple Break-Ins Reported in Attala County

The Attala County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of recent break-ins across the county, resulting in thefts and property damage.

On Attala Road 1155 off Hwy 19, a homeowner returned to find their door open and a generator among other items missing. Two rifles, valued at $3,000, were stolen from a truck on Highway 14 W. Another incident was reported on Highway 35 S near Attala Road 1016, where a knife and a gun, valued at $1,500, were stolen from a vehicle. Deputies also  investigated a break-in on Highway 43 S near Attala Road 1005 where the resident reported property damage.

Authorities urge residents to keep doors and vehicles locked and report suspicious activity. The investigations are ongoing.

    All the people needs to stand together & elect new officials to to the government offices that will change the laws & make
    It for the people not for the crooks. We the people need to stick together & help each other not let the thieves & dopeheads get away with stilling from the ones that work hard to make a living for their families!!!!

    What does that even mean Brenda? Electing new officials keeps people from stealing? Not stilling btw.
