Thousands of visitors from all around the state and southeast flocked to downtown Kosciusko over the weekend for the 49th annual Natchez Trace Festival.
The weekend’s festivities started Friday night with a karaoke contest at Family Night
Bright and early on Saturday, the festival kicked off the with the Renasant Bank 5K run.
Gasoline Alley, KFD train rides, entertainment stage, Moomba, and the FFA petting zoo all returned for this year’s festival.
The most popular attraction at this year’s festival may have been the helicopter rides. Riders were taken for a two minute ride over downtown Kosciusko before returning to land at the Kosciusko Junior High School practice field.
Festival organizers were pleased with the turn out and would like to thank all those that volunteered their time to help with this year’s event.
