At 6:08 am Kosciusko Police, MedStat EMS, City Fire and Rescue with assistance from the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a report of a two vehicle MVA. The caller said it was located on highway 12 west in front of Exxon.
Emergency personnel arrived on scene and notified responding units that there were injuries involved. Two lanes of traffic were blocked for close to an hour as emergency responders worked the accident.
MedStat transported one male patient to Baptist-Attala from medical treatment. There is not word on the extent of his injuries or cause of the accident at this time.
The Kosciusko Police Department will be in charge of the investigation.
