Around 1:15 am Thursday morning, Attala County Deputies, MedStat, Mississippi Highway Patrol, and Attala County Fire were called to reports of a one car wreck on Hwy 43, about one mile south of Kosciusko.
When officials arrived on scene, they found a red Nissan pickup off the road with heavy damage.
Witnesses on the scene said the driver appeared to be under the influence.
One person was taken to Baptist Medical Center Attala for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
