Kosciusko Whippet linebackers Antwan Gentry and Kendrell Gamble have been named Autumn Ridge Dental Players of the Game for the team’s first two games of the season.
Gamble was named Player of the Game for his performance in the Whippets’ most recent game against Forest. Gamble had two fumble recoveries, a tackle for loss, and several additional tackles.
Gentry received Player of the Game honors for the Whippets’ opening week game against Neshoba Central. In that game, Gentry recorded multiple tackles for loss and forced a fumble.
Both players were awarded their Autumn Ridge Dental Player of the Game shirts Monday morning.
The Whippets will be go on the road again this week to take on the Ridgeland Titans.
