Two students at Presbyterian Day School have qualified for the MAIS State Spelling Bee.
The students are Morgan Holdiness and Baylie Rea.
The two recently competed in a regional spelling bee in Carrollton.
In that competition, Holdiness placed first in 4th grade and Rea placed 2nd in 5th grade.
The state spelling bee will be held Jan. 15 in Flowood.
