Pearl River Resort celebrates the 30th anniversary


CHOCTAW, MS (July 1, 2024) – Pearl River Resort celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Silver Star Hotel & Casino, which first opened its doors on July 1, 1994.

To commemorate this special day, the Resort is thrilled to announce that this year’s Fourth of July fireworks show will be the biggest and most spectacular in its history. For the first time ever, a drone show will be added to the festivities, making it an unforgettable experience for all. The public is invited to attend, and everyone is encouraged to arrive early to secure the best viewing spots.

“We are delighted to celebrate three decades of business at Pearl River Resort,” said Tribal Chief Cyrus Ben. “I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our day one Associates who started with us back in 1994. We are proud to have 62 of them still working with us today. I also want to thank all our Associates for their dedication and hard work, and our guests for their loyalty and patronage. We look forward to many more years of success and growth.”

The month-long celebration also includes live concerts and promotions:

  • Boys II Men will perform on July 5th at 8 p.m.
  • Big and Rich, featuring Gretchen Wilson with Cowboy Troy, will rock the stage on July 6th at 8 p.m.

Concerts will be held in the Silver Star Convention Center. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Tickets are available online at

FREE GIFTS: On July 3rd, from Noon until 4 p.m., guests can visit the Players Club at Silver Star Casino to receive a FREE 30th Anniversary t-shirt while supplies last.

30TH ANNIVERSARY PROMOTION: Guests can win a share of $30,000 in cash and bonusbet on July 5th and 6th from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. each night.
