Photo: Lady Whippet basketball star signs to play college basketball

A Kosciusko Lady Whippet basketball player will continue her career at the collegiate level.

D’Naylah Williams signed Friday to play for Itawamaba Community College.

Williams helped lead the Lady Whippets to a post season appearance this season.

    Congratulations D’Naylah.
    Come on Itawamba, be respectful of this young lady and show pride in your school…you could of at least had an ironed jersey. Wrinkled jersey is just tacky. Hope the college shows more pride for their school and for this young lady’s talent.

      The shirt wasn’t provided by ICC because MACCC schools aren’t allowed to provide student-athletes with anything to display during their signings.
