Two Kosciusko Whippet softball players signed Tuesday to continue their careers at a Mississippi community college.
Mary Kimble Price (1B/3B/P) and Makynlee Dickerson (SS) signed their letter of intent to play for Jones College in a ceremony held at the Kosciusko Whippets athletic facility weight room.
Dickerson and Price were crucial parts of the Whippets’ 2021 and 2022 4A Softball State Championship teams and the duo were chosen to play in the Mississippi Association of Coaches All-Star game earlier this year.
At Jones, they will be reunited with former Kosciusko Whippets pitcher Anna Grace Whitehead.
Dickerson and Price will begin their senior seasons for Kosciusko in February.
