Photos: Kosciusko Attala Career Tech Center students attend national competition

Kosciusko-Attala CTC Health Science students, along with their instructor Amy Price, traveled to Houston, Texas to compete in the HOSA International Leadership Conference from June 25-30, 2024.

Over 13,000 students were in attendance and competed at the conference.

Students representing the Attala County and Kosciusko School Districts that earned honors include:

  • Community Awareness – 3rd place
    (Mary Kimble Price, Sarabeth Moore, Akeelah Hunt and Ally Moore)
  • Health Education – 5th place
    (GracieKate Burrell, Mallory Moore, Julie Yang and Paisleigh Chandler)
  • MS State Vice-President – Mary Kimble Price
  • HOSA Happenings – Recognized as an Outstanding HOSA Chapter.

The students and teachers would like to thank all local businesses and individuals that made monetary donations for the trip. This experience would not have been possible without their support.
