Photos: Kosciusko Mayor’s Youth Council attends statewide conference

The Kosciusko Mayor’s Youth Council attended the statewide MML Youth Summit at the University of Southern Mississippi Saturday, March 1.

There were a total of 25 students to attend and represent Kosciusko.

The state’s colleges rotate as hosts each year and this year’s event welcomed over 300 students from across the state.

Important topics that impact youth’s future and professional development are discussed.

Kosciusko Mayor Tim Kyle was in attendance to present on Holmes Community College’s behalf at a session called “Trade Talk,” where he shared career and technical education options to students who may not be pursuing an academic degree but are eager to enter the workforce.

The Mayor’s Youth Council would like to thank Gardner Engineering, Enbridge and Double S Construction for sponsoring transportation to the event and Dickerson Petroleum and Prairie Farms for their support as sponsors for the MML Youth Summit.
