The Willows (formerly known as Atwood Personal Care Home) held its 2nd annual Christmas Parade on Friday.

During the parade, residents decorate their walkers with the help of their friends and family

Addtionally, students from the Kosicusko Attala Career Tech Center and instructor Amy Price visited the home for the parade.

This year’s parade featured Rudolph and Santa Clause, a manger scene, Christmas present themes, and so many more creative things were done to these walkers.

The parade takes place in the halls of the home.

Activities Director Ashlee Crowson picks out a Christmas music  playlist while the residents line up and take a stroll with their decorated walkers through the halls of the home.

This is called the “honor walk” and it’s done in memory of the residents who have passed away.
