Students from the Ag Science, Ed Prep, and Health Science programs at the Kosciusko-Attala Career Tech Center gave back to their community on Nov. 6 by volunteering at Kosy Lights which is held in downtown Kosciusko, and marks the start of the holiday season with festive lights and family-friendly activities.
“We are so proud of our students for giving back in such a meaningful way,” said Ed Prep Instructor Tessa Horn. “This volunteer opportunity not only brings holiday cheer but also allows our students to make connections within our community.”
Kosy Lights coordinator Pati Edwards expressed her appreciation for the students’ efforts, noting that their contributions helped tremendously. The Kosy Lights celebration continues to be a cherished tradition in the community, and the CTC students’ continued involvement made it extra special.
The Kosciusko-Attala CTC looks forward to participating in more community events, allowing students to build valuable experiences and strengthen community ties.
