The Attala County Fire Department gave a demonstration at the Kosciusko-Attala Career Tech Center, showing students how to properly use a fire extinguisher.
Students had the chance to put out a live fire using a fire extinguisher or water.
They also learned about different types of fires, the importance of having a fire evacuation plan, and gained insight into a career as a firefighter.
Attala County Fire Chief Tim Cox organized this informative event.
